I know this is like, so two days ago but... The last 48 hours have been saturated with commentary, feelings and media regarding Robin Williams. Some wonderful, insightful things have surfaced. Some of these ideas have forced us into greater understanding and awareness of many of lifes darker issues and his suicide has hit me deep, like most. Everyone processes stuff like this in their own way. I havent really posted on his death, replied to peoples posts or engaged in any intense back and forth with anyone regarding his terribly sad exit. I havent done any tributes or watched too many videos, but enough to assist. What I will say, is that if someone were selling tickets to watch Rush Limbaugh get eaten by a band of blood-thirsty feral pigs, like the ones in the Hannibal movie, I would buy one, pull up a comfortable chair and drink expensive martinis. The world can be a beautiful place. And it can be so very ugly. Rush Limbaugh is ignorant human filth and the world will be a much brighter place when he is not in it. I really hate to coincide my thoughts about Williams passing with this type of vitriolic rant, because its utterly contradictory to the idealism of kindness, transcendence, beauty and humanity that so many of us strive for each day - and these are notes that I try to hit in my life - but often fail. Anyway... So heres to pig farming. And thats where Im gonna leave it. Rainbows, kittens and happier, funnier posts ahead.
