I know this is someones personal story, and I dont consider this - TopicsExpress

I know this is someones personal story, and I dont consider this sharing bc you dont know this girl. Is it considered fraud for a husband to tell his wife and family he has esophageal cancer causing her to stop her divorce that was almost final and lets him move back home. A year later finding out not only did he still have the same girlfriend she kicked him out over, but the doctor was not sure what cancer the liar told his wife he was being treated for because the cancer test was negative. Here is the super important part, What if said liar incurred a judgement during his lie that has caused 3 months of his now ex-wifes (as of Feb 2013) paycheck to be garnished causing her ridiculous financial distress bc it was sudden and A LOT. The credit recovery attorney that sued him (btw he received the notice to appear but blew it off) told her that since she&liar were still legally married, they could attach to her wage. But for the fact that he lied about having TERMINAL CANCER she WOULD HAVE BEEN DIVORCED FROM HIM BEFORE THIS DEBT OF HIS WAS INCURRED. Dont worry, its not my Prince. Im asking for a friend who needs to finally stop the madness this sociopath continues to inflict on her and THEIR children. Does any of my legal minded friends have advice. I know that bc of first ammendment rights, you can day whatever you want, however, when you are receiving goods and services BECAUSE OF THAT LIE, that is fraud. I think it may even be criminal.
