I know whats NOT being talked about: the humidity and temperature - TopicsExpress

I know whats NOT being talked about: the humidity and temperature of the air. The closer the temp is to 98.6 and the humidity is higher, the LONGER the virus is going to last in the air. This is in part why it spreads in West Africa because its a closer mimicking to the conditions in the human body. We have a nomenclature terminology and miscommunication problem going on: the term airborne has been reserved in biology for those bacteria and viruses that last minutes or longer in the air. There is little terminology for a virus lasting several seconds in the air. In other words, if an active Ebola person sneezes, the conditions of the air has a lot to do with the longevity of the virus... in Alaska where it is cold and dry, the risk is extremely low. In the deep-south and east-coast where the humidity can be higher and temperatures higher, Id assume the virus can be spread, and could last many seconds in the air, and breathing it in could be a way to spread it. Im curious about the conditions on an airplane, especially the humidity levels. https://youtube/watch?v=VcPPqXL4C6A
