I learned this morning of the devastation that stroke a a very prominent and materially prosperous church in Dublin. (For the sake of objectivity,I will not give its name). This church was right in the middle of of the alignment of the Prosperity Doctrine, with an over-influence of giving money by all church members, using a very computable technology to control their givings, even sending them memos whenever their giving seemed to fall short. This church of more than 1100 members made believe that money was used for the glory of the Kingdom of God and for the support of their missions, whereas, they were only used for the gratification of the pastors and top leaders for uplifting their own lives and that of their families. This church was closed by the Revenue Department of Ireland and leaders of this Church face serious legal actions for illegal appropriation of funds and not honoring their commitment towards charity, for which they claimed to be part of their mission. Enquiries have shown that the leaders of this big church has turned money form this end towards their own accounts and this level to millions of euros. I wish to write this as a warning to those who jingle with the money dedicated to the work of the Kingdom for their own interest and those of their families. We do not serve the kingdom for our own interest but for the sake of His glory. Those who commit this sin, will sooner or later fall before the face of God. The downfall of this church has raised terrible concerns in the Christian community in Ireland. But this is a logical consequence of sin INSIDE the house. Let us be prepare to serve the Lord without letting our hearts be carried away by any Satanic temptation with regard to money or materialistic wealth.
