I learned today that physical therapists have a twisted sense of humor. At my session today my therapist said its time to step up the program so she says Ill be right back. She and another therapist return with this electronic machine that has red and black wires coming out of it. They asked me if I ever experienced electro shock therapy? I said no and then they said oh boy you are in for a real treat . They both looked at each other with this smerky grin and that should have been a clue to me. I was thinking oh this will be nice and soothing like a massage. As the hooked up the electrodes to my arm I was relaxed and paciently waiting for my soothing massage. Then they turned it on and it hit me. It was not relaxing. It was not soothing. Every one had a good laugh when I jumped up out of the chair and started dancing a jig. I now know how fish feel when they are being telephoned!
