I left baby Kizhi and Inca home alone tonight and went to see Col. Chris Hadfield speak at our local theatre tonight. Wow! If you ever have a chance to hear him, run to get tickets. He is very funny, very personable, and has great stories and photographs too. I would go back and see him again and again. He really believes that we always need to have dreams - dreams for right away, dreams for 10 years away and long term dreams. What steps will you take today to get closer to making your dream happen? I told my 3 and 4 years old students that I was going to see Col. Chris Hadfield tonight and of course they didnt know who he is. So we watched some of his videos from space and you should of seen their eyes practically pop out of their heads as they saw him fly through the station and brush his teeth and other cool space stuff. It was a good day. He has a new book coming out soon of his most stunning photos taken from space.
