I left work after dismissal today because I wanted to bring a treat from Starbucks to my husband while he was at work. On the way there, I had to stop and get gas. While I was swiping my debit card, a gentleman approached me asking if I had a lighter for his cigarette. Seriously? Not only am I pregnant and obviously dont have a lighter since Im a non-smoker, but um, I was pumping gas! Hello, fire hazard?!?! Then he proceeded to ask if I had money and gave me a story about how he recently got out of jail and needed money to get home to Tallahassee. Good grief. The entire time I was pumping gas, I felt scared thats he was going to try to break into my car or something (my doors were locked as a safety precaution). Ugh!
