I like hitting yard sales looking for treasures others pass on. Last year and this year I have been picking up partial bottles of lamp oil and coleman fuel for cheap 25 cents to 50 cents mostly. My wife hit a yard sale on the way home from work and picked me up a full gallon of coleman fuel for 1.00. So I decide to finally consolidate it all in one container. Took a 5 gallon gas can and a funnel and poured the coleman fuel through a filter and into the funnel. When I was done I had 4.5 gallons of the coleman fuel for all my toys. I also have 3.5 gallons of lamp oil. All for less than 10.00. Scrounging is savings for me. I can recycle the lamp oil bottles, now I just need to find something to do with the metal coleman fuel cans.
