I like the thought of being in one spot in space in an astronauts space suit so I dont die instantly... but while hanging there... which way am I falling? I mean apart from the actual motion of the universe & all things in it. Apart from the actual gravity of suns & planets et al. If you had no close reference point... earth was a distant speck that you might confuse with dust inside your helmet, perhaps the sun might look like a table tennis ball a hundred yards away. I dont want to talk about the actual physics as I really dont know physics to explain it... Im just interested in the idea of hanging there & if youd get a sensation of falling at all... as you would be moving & moving quite fast, would you feel it? Its fun to think about, but when I get too far into this thought I actually experience vertigo LOL even to the point I sometimes feel a need to settle my stomach. Just think... falling, but you do not know in which direction you are falling, now look down. LOL that freaks me out. & yes I do this stoned when I can... havent had a nice spliff in years. Ah the fun of the mind... its so tempting like... lemon gelato.
