I like this quote because too many people are unwilling to listen to a different perspective on a given issue. That means they are being right-brained as a listener. But if one is left-brained, using the logical side, a different kind of listening occurs. It doesnt mean that if you listen using the left side of your brain that you have to or will agree with a person who has a different opinion. It means that you are being a more wholistic listener…you are listening to understand instead of listening to reply and theres a big difference.
