She was a private investigator, a teller of stories, a checker of facts, a writer of clear prose, an interviewer, an honest person, an asker of awkward questions that no one else wanted to ask, a dogged character who wouldnt give up on a story, a person not easily intimidated, lied to or misled, a debunker of myths... and so on. So the particular roles where we applied those skills and values are going. Indeed. But she still has those skills and values, and they are still needed and valuable. More, maybe, than ever. There are new jobs out there. Where the hell are her friends to help her pick herself back up???
