I listened to a motivational speaker and I was swept off my feet. - TopicsExpress

I listened to a motivational speaker and I was swept off my feet. I dont really listen to them because many of them only talk and talk with no realistic correlation BUT this particular one is always factual and interesting. He spoke on happiness. How we, in the quest for happiness, get education, seek jobs, do our best to marry, give birth to children; all because we believe, each step is the road to happiness. Along the line, these steps become boring and tiresome and most times are causes of unhappiness. To the fact, he simply stated that happiness is BEING YOUR TRUE SELF. One particular example struck me. He said some people, due to their INHERENT MISSION; their innate ingenuity and lifes reality, are not really wired and produced for marriage. BUT these ones get married because of societal pressure. They just look for someone, get married and start producing kids only to become depressed for life after losing focus of their missions and visions. This illustration is striking because experiences abound. ARAFRIKAs View It is an interesting message BUT shouldnt be a basis to be IRRESPONSIBLE. Unlike charges attract according to the lesson of magnet. Quadratic equation builds the brain than linear equation. We are created to be of assistance to each other. In as much as you must not bow to pressure and just pick any girl or guy to fulfill societal demand, you must also be careful not to become silly by rejoicing in BEING SINGLE. Nothing is interesting in being single except when YOUR MISSION is at stake. Peace!
