I lost a best friend, a hero in the line of duty fighting against Ebola. We lived for years in the same house before I left for China here. Patriotic young Isaac Sesay was a Public Health student at COMAHS until his demise. Isaac commonly called Doc lost his Father and Mother and about eight (8) other relatives - uncles, aunts, cousins to Ebola. In the process, his biological elder sister (accountant) and younger brother (student at COMAHS) also contacted the disease, and were taken to the Kenema center for treatment. Isaac who had been a practicing nurse for about ten (10) years, volunteered to work at the Kenema Ebola center, where his brother and sister were being admitted. He contributed immensely towards the survival of many patients there, including his brother and sister. He relocated to Makeni when Kenema got better few days ago; but unfortunately, he contacted the disease there and could not survive.
