I love Christmas. Its a great time of giving. The Nativity Scene we create in our minds and set up on our shelves are a beautiful scene of Gods gift to the world. BUT it wasnt beautiful in the natural....it was messy. It was a place nobody would ever want to give birth. I have been in so much thought about how he came... why He came, and what does it really mean to me. (to get an appreciation of it). But this morning as I reflect and yesterday (see video bellow from yesterday) I cant stop reflecting on His death. It was also very messy...my sin, very messy, was wiped away by this messy act of Love. His birth His life His death...I mean, really God? You saw my mess, and showed me just how far you are willing to go...to save me. Glory be to God. Merry Christmas to you all and this Christmas reflect on what this birth means to you...where, just where would we be without it?? I know where I would be, its not pretty.
