I love Jesus, but Im deeply annoyed by the Christian lifestyle. By that I mean, finding any and every excuse to go to church, listening to (mostly) nothing but religious music, posting about how much you love Jesus every 5 seconds, trying to dictate the way others should live by inflicting your morals onto them, talking in Christianese like its the only language you know, always begging for funding for some mission trip or outreach project, constantly trying to drag people to church, listening to Christian radio, ad infinitum. Really, it isnt a contest; theres no prize here or in heaven for who loves Jesus most. Just calm it people. Youre not denying Jesus before man if you simply obey scripture, keep your heart towards God, and only talk about Jesus when He comes up in conversation. Youre wearing people out and pushing people away from God. I wonder how God would feel about people being pushed away because were not willing to apply wisdom and understanding to our life and how we interact with others.
