I love Kentucky. Wherever I go I preach The Kentucky Gospel. Theres no place on Earth like Kentucky. Kentucky is a land of extremes. Kentucky is a land of natural beauty and a land of terrible pollution. Kentucky is a land of intelligence and a land of ignorance. Kentuckys Creation Museum is a nightmare. An even worse nightmare is that Kentuckys State Government endorses the Creation Museum not only in word but with money. I believe in total Separation of Church and State. I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Thomas Jefferson Im not a religious person but I am a deeply spiritual person. My feeling is that if you have a religion respect and honor it. I respect and honor all religions all belief and non belief systems. I honor and respect all our beautifully unique cultural and individual differences while simultaneously recognizing that we all have more in common than we have different. I dont respect people using religion, any religion, as their justification for hurting other people. I respect governments that are of by and for the people they represent. The ideal government is a tool of by and for the people created to insure equality and justice for all its citizens. Government should never be more powerful than its citizens. Government should not make decisions without consent of its citizens. When government becomes more powerful than its citizens then it should be changed or removed. I believe in total separation of religion and government. I believe in total Separation of Church and State. Church and State in bed together give birth to imbeciles and despots.
