I love having fun on Facebook and try to keep pretty light on my posts and avoid getting political. That being said, I had to speak out about the State School Board election that is happening tomorrow. Jim Porter is on the ballot and I am excited he is there. He loves kids, loves teachers, and has served as a teacher, principal, and superintendent as a lifes calling. He is now willing to serve on the board. He doesnt have a bunch of big signs or publicity because he is not supported by huge out-of-state PACS. His opponent, however, is being bankrolled by huge, out-of-state money.
