I love my neighborhood! It offers a eclectic urban life unlike anywhere else. I have been blessed to live here the last 14 years, to have my store nestled here amidst these ever lively streets. One of the best things are all the cool neighbors and people who shop, eat & visit here on a regular basis. One of our most gifted neighbors is the troubadour, BARCLAY MARTIN. I have always flagged as one of the really cool things thats happened at Prosperos Books is that BARCLAY played one of his 1st shows in our store. Well, this thursday night, at another of our waaaay, cool neighborhood joints, Kansas Town, BARCLAY is going to offer up a set of tunes, starting at 10pm. KST will celebrate with our slate of vintage cocktails and frosty beverages, and tasty nosh from our bar menu.
