I love this!! It is NOT something we can ignore. Global Warming = Climate change. Yes it is not warmer outside in the winter people. What it means is that overall the sea temperatures are warming up causing glaciers and the like to melt which means that the jet streams are greatly affected which means the cold will be colder, the dry will get dryer, the hot will get hotter, the wet will get wetter. It is the weather that is going to get more extreme as these changes are occurring. For example the typhoon recently that made hurricane force winds up into the Aleutian islands and is helping the jet stream push the polar vortex further south is caused by the affects of the climate changes going on. No matter what political side you are on we all should be aware that these changes are occurring faster than expected with normal changes in climate and this will greatly affect humans and all things on this earth. (off of my soap box for the moment)
