I love this exercise. I think it is a fun way to add some variation to your core workouts. This is the walking plank with a push up. I have a few suggestions on this one. First, you may start with a walking plank alone and progress towards adding the push up. Second, you can perform this in the modified push up, which is on your knees. Maintaining correct form is always the most important aspect of performing an exercise. Perfect the form and then work towards the advanced options. Start in straight arm plank. Bring the right hand to meet the left hand, and then take the left hand out so that your hands are placed slightly wider than shoulder width. You have the option to add in the push up here. Now walk the left hand towards the right hand, and take the right hand back out so you are in your starting position (straight arm plank). Option to add in another push up here. Repeat the exercise going in the opposite direction.
