I love this video. Consider the natural appearances of these modern soldiers reproducing old tribal war dances. Now transfer it into spiritual imagery. While watching this video, imagine the typical American pastor culture and the growing perpetually bickering American followers. Show me men of God facing the enemy like these men rehearse & train in facing theirs. Our cultural enemies for which we are called to be salt. But we worry about IRS tax exemption and political rules to bridle our preaching? Heres the real question: Does the American church look like these tribal warriors to God? Or do we see a feminized church nursery ethos, full of complaints of the unweaned.... about milk temperature, the pastor didnt greet me just right..I didnt like this or that...or somebody offended me..or even, someone molested my kid...I will get revenge lawsuit!! Mis-identifying the actual enemy turing upon weak members in autophagia. Are you in a church bassinet or loading into a HUMVEE? When are we going to destroy arguments? Destruction is not accomodation or pacification. Are you strong enough to actually put on the armor of God? How about the whole armor of God? Or are we just running around with only wearing the helmet of salvation? Maybe you are wearing only the cool Gospel of peace shoes with your cool street clothes? Might you be a fashion warrior, you know committing the new-aged random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty? Did you forget the Whole Armor is to serve & support the sword? The sword will frighten and offend people. It is to cut, to lay open the gut of the enemy, to lance & stab, it is not to feign and flatter. When are we going to allow, move in faith with the Holy Spirit to teach you all things? Which makes you liable to act upon them? Yeah, study & study, about greater works shall you do. Keep studying, ever studying, academics & gant straining theologians ever learning but unable to.....
