I love to experiment in the kitchen, sometimes it is a big fail, but most of the time it turns out pretty good! Tonight a made oven baked patty melts and it was pretty good. I used 2 pkgs of Marie Callenders cheese biscuit mix (mixed as directed), spooning half the mix into four heaps on a cookie sheet and then placing a piece of cheddar cheese, cooked hamberger patty, slice of tomatoe, slice of onion, slices of pickles, cooked bacon and one more slice of cheese. Topped in off with remaining dough and with wet fingers formed it over to meet the dough below and then baked it 400 for 15 min. I will say that it was a little to bready, so next time I will use regular bread dough.
