I loved this show! A great show for black children to grow up on. You see how no more spells that show blacks in positive positions exist anymore? Its part of a system, show enough of the garbage and the garbage becomes life imitating art! Shows like The Cosby Show, A Different World, The Jeffersons, The Fresh Prince, Family Matters! They all showed blacks living in America add families with two parent homes, a strong working loving nurturing father, and a strong, supportive, loving working mother! Doctors, lawyers, business owners, police officers, news editors!!! The children in the shows did good in school, they were ambitious, they lived their parents, they werent always angry! Now, in these days all they show is ghetto ratchetness in the form of music videos! Notice how it works? Back when these shows were on, there was a greater sense of pride in the black community. We need more shows like this. I know its not the TVs responsibility to raise our children, but it wouldnt hurt to have positive black shows on air to not only show black youth that they can be something other than a rapper or athlete or thug! It would also show other races a side of black people other than the rage and foolishness they purposely show on TV to help influence other peoples opinions!
