Visited the Akweibu School in my constituency; Ablekuma West. I was greeted with the unpleasant sight of pupils sitting on the floor, balancing books on their Knees to study in this day and age and especially after the so called Massive investment in education. Its enough to make one weep. Heard the usual story of children having to clean fecal matter and used condoms from nocturnal visitors who use the compound as their toilet and their classroom as brothels. Our Children are being exposed to all these. I presented 10 notebook personal computers to the school and some New year gifts to teachers who are enduring such terrible conditions. I will be at AMA and the Metro directorate today. We will find a lasting solution to the situation like we have done for others since I took office.
