I loved you as if you were mine, and I couldnt have loved you - TopicsExpress

I loved you as if you were mine, and I couldnt have loved you anymore if you were mine. This scene is an example of how fatherhood extends beyond the biological. The father is telling his son to step up and be a Man by adopting two children who are daughters of a childhood friend who died from a drug overdose. Fathers are deemed fathers because of their attention and responsibility assumed to navigate young lives by teaching them reason, honor, dignity and respect, and carrying those qualities as a Man in society to be of direct influence to that child or children. I enjoyed this film immensely working with a wonderful cast, a great crew and it taught me more of what I learned in being in a Father full-time and in real time. Thank you David Walker for that experience. (Barry and Doug are with us all the time......)
