I m a bit upset with my insurance company who has been my carrier for five years; I have never had a claim; however they did come and inspect my roof for hail damage (there was none) and noted that the existing roof was old. I had some interior damage from a flat roof which leaked (and which was repaired.) I now have a new roof for my whole house, my flat roof, my garage and my carport.My insurance company is terminating my homeowners insurance because the person who fixed the flat roof and who promised to complete the interior work, has not done so and the peeling ceiling still exists, even though there is no leaking Any suggestions? I have already changed to a different carrier for my auto insurance. Is this common practice for insurance companies? Incidentally , I have never had a claim on my homeowers in the 55 years of continuous coverage....just need some imput...Bill??? It is not State Farm btw.
