I m really so excited to let inform that I m elected as a Director of World highest IT organization called WITSA (World IT & Services Alliances) based in USA and representations of whole IT organizations. I took the risk also to contest as a Chairman of Global Trade Committee and I must pay my gratitude to Almighty for helping me to Win this great election where 80 country gave their vote to me. It was an unbelievable job for me bcz the competition was with direct vote. I was not confident to win thats why not share publicly also. Japan and Afghanistan was my competitor and Alhamdulillah I got the highest vote in secret ballot paper. First time our beloved country got this opportunity and I know it will be my challenge to contribute properly. I must thanks to BCS (Bangladesh Computer Samity) who approved my representation in WITSA from Bangladesh. President Mr. Mahfuzul Arif, VP Ali Ashfak who were my colleagues while I was president of BCS in 2002-3 and present Secretary General Mr. Nazrul Islam Milon with BCS EC. Also I should show my respect to Muneem Hossain Rana former Secretary General of BCS who joined with me from Dallas and Mujibar Rahman Sapon, EC, BCS joined from Dhaka. I will try my best to use this prestigious position to uplift my countrys respect in the whole world In Shaa Allah. I must thanks Rana bhai who helped me in campaigning. It is a great experience for me bcz I was really not so confident to win. David Wong and Dato Looi, PIKOM from Malaysia, NASSCOM, India and JISA, Japan, Mr. Nizar Razzak, Lebanon, Dr. Silvia from Argentina, Mr. Roger from South Africa, Mr. Tarek from Egypt, Mrs Florence from Nigeria, Dr. Borris from Czech Republic & El-Salvador helped me lot. Election was in close door so no picture taken properly but try to give few moments while I presented myself.
