This dog is being posted to rescue due to medical. Meet Max! This hefty Puggle was surrendered for humane euthanasia last week due to medical issues. We kept an eye on him in our clinic area and had our veterinarians give him a thorough exam which resulted in the following notes: Vet check requested for overall health. On cage side exam, BAR and barking. BCS 9/9 severely overweight. Slightly overgrown nails, weight bearing on all four limbs, no limping noted. Right eye has prolapsed third eyelid gland (cherry eye), no eye or nasal discharge noted. HR 150, RR pant, heart and lungs auscult WNL. BCS 9/9. Right eye has cherry eye with mild mucoid yellow eye discharge in that eye. Mucuos membranes pink with CRT > This animal needs to receive a rescue request by 01/16/2015.
