I made Guacamole with 2 avacados, 4 tomatoes, 5 scallions, 1 envelope of McCormick Guacamole spice, 3.5 oz. finely shredded reduced fat mild cheddar cheese, and Polar sliced jalapenos about 12 sices and I chopped them smaller. I use it as a dip for plain tortilla chips and great for dipping celery stalks into it. The problem is, now my hands are stinging from the jalapenos. The same thing happens if I chop fresh jalapenos. These jalapeno slices were in a jar. I knew they would be too big and cause a really hot bite unless I chopped them really small. My hands are still stinging. I need to go put them under cold running water and use lots of dish soap to remove the acids! Whew!
