I make veggie smoothies every night (almost) I am not maligning juice, I am discussing behavior and lifestyle, This little ditty hits on many aspects of the juice fast that I have had concerns about, All others aside, the issue I have is the quick-fix, shock the body nature of the protocol. The way I have been introduced to cleansing is to, over time, adjust my diet. Eat organic, non-GMO as much as possible, remove certain things foer my environment (aluminum, fluoride, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc.). I still drink coffee, in case someone out there thinks I am declaring myself a paragon. :) A process, right? There are also things one can take to ENHANCE the eliminatory systems of the body. (Calli tea and Fortune Delight from Sunrider are two rsy and delicious ways.) ADD support to the system responsible while adjusting the intake. Over time, the body cleanses itself, your behavior adjusts and becomes the new normal. It is not a crash diet mentality, it is a lifestyle adjustment, done incrementally, over time.
