I managed a whole week without running cos of this plantar fascitits thing, even though I ran Downton and various other races with it. It happened because I had decided to switch to lighter and less supportive running shoes. This obviously doesnt work for fat people like me. Aching a lot less today so thought id try and run a mile and then it turned into 2. Needed to curb my addiction as I was bouncing off the walls. Foot feels fine at the mo but now I feel warmed up for more miles. Was a lovely chilled run, really enjoyable just to be out there. Best to be sensible though. Gone from 15 stone to 15 st 10 in 6 weeks! Not good, but hopefully ill be more focused in the new year. Plan on more resting, eating and drinking until then ;)
