I may be an unfrozen caveman high-school dropout BUT: It seems axiomatic to me, due to the subjective nature of profundity, that most if not all perceptions of something profound are at best only partially shared. Why would I want, much less expect, everyone to have the same system of valuation? Frankly I find it reassuring that such things are mostly if not entirely of and for ones own personal paradigm.
