I may be mistaken, but I believe this is Glenda and Paula Sharpes mother. Glenda was Class of 63 and Paula was a year or two earlier. Margaret Flora Sharpe Gaskins Margaret Flora Sharpe Gaskins MT. PLEASANT - Margaret Flora Sharpe Gaskins, 93, passed away at Franke Home on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She was born January 24, 1921 in Spartanburg, SC a daughter of the late Walter Travis Daniel and Daisy Lee Sawyer Daniel. Margaret retired from SCE&G and was a member of United Methodist Church and The Order of the Eastern Star. Her great love was her family and traveling. She was a wonderful cook and known for her infamous macaroni and cheese and homemade banana pudding. Her family remembers her as having a strong will and strong faith. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Paul O. Sharpe and Howard K. Gaskins; and her daughters, Paula S. Rodewoldt and Glenda S. Jones. She is survived by four grandchildren, Fred (Susan) Rodewoldt of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Pam (Rusty) Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Shea (Mark) Boyce of Taylors, SC, Jimmy (Allyson) Jones of Columbia, SC; seven great-grandchildren, Kate Taylor, Will Rodewoldt and Becca Taylor, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Meghan Boyce and Courtney Boyce of Taylors, SC, Stella Jones and Lyla Jones of Columbia, SC; sons-in-law, Rick Rodewoldt of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and Jim Jones of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews and her friends at the Franke Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC, 29464, (843) 884-3833. Rev. Kathryn Hunter and Rev. Sherry Owensby-Sikes officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 (one hour prior) from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Memorial donations may be made to Hibben United Methodist Scholarship Fund, 600 Coleman Blvd., Mt.
