I may loose my man card for this post, but who cares ;) I cook a lot at home, dinner mostly. If you cook a whole package of pasta there tends to not be enough sauce in 1 jar, at least for my taste. Its like the hot dog and bun issue. What I do is add one can of Italian petit diced tomatoes to the sauce. It is the perfect way to expand volume and not loose flavor, in fact I think it makes the sauce better. Plus, if you have left-overs, they reheat better due to the little boost of sauce.
