I mean no disrespect first and foremost, ok... I got an inbox from a friend, with a beautiful family, an Army vet, and Native, stating could he get a place to crash if this pipeline is built.. of course I said yeah.. But, thinking Cheyenne River Agency Prisoner of War Camp still tell this day. Where we still can be imprisoned for not following the white mans law, were freedom sometimes isnt really free, were Natural Law, being Lakota, Language, Cultural and our way of life our threatened everyday, to a point were almost extinct. Now, I asked what kind of position does this put a Vet in? Do they defend there Ancestors or the USA? If shit hits the fan and National Guard is ordered,to come control the savage, radical Cowboys and Indians, with barrels of gun powder and lead, brother staring at brother, daughter meeting her fathers eyes saying Dad please, Wife looking at her husband, grandma trying to reason with her Takoja, taking a stand, believing something so passionate that they want to ensure the future generations will have an earth to live on.. Same for an Officer, being order to arrest, these crazy people.. Again, I mean no disrespect, but in some of our group chats we also discuss hard to talk about issues, I took a chance to bring not only my thought but others just to began a dialogue.. Because, I know how are relatives are being treated in Canada, by there governments.. :(
