*******I meant to write this but forgot with so much going on! As we embark on this new exciting adventure that will be 2015, Year of the Ram, I have nothing but gratitude in my heart for all the blessings this passing year has brought me! 2015 for me started with a bang thanks to Bernard and Joanne Furshpan and the Guinness Book of Records Longest Cabaret! It was a beautiful blessing and experience to be part of it! Tom, myself, Bobby De Leon, my friend/accompanist, Julie Ann Earls, are eternally grateful to be part of it! I had a blast inspite of ailments! I am grateful to still have my mother living with me and my angelic caregiver, Edna to help care for her and live with us. My love, Thomas Waters, arrived in my life Dec. 17th of 2013, though I knew of him longer, and this Dec. 19, 2014, my baby Yellow Lab, Lover arrived! I am thrilled! I am blessed to still have one of my oldest friend, Russ Weatherford around with his Eric to continue our devotion to each other! Beth Lynne Low (Robbins), my HS of Performing Arts buddy, I have known since we were 14 years old, Bill Jordan, who was my fan at Luigi Jazz Center has remained a good friend and his lovely wife. David Winters, I found again, my mentor, and star of West Side Story, Director, Producer, fabulous Choreographer, and the one who brought Elvis Presley in my life and started my acting career rolling after only 3 months in Hollywood, I will always be grateful David winters and never ever forget you! I am grateful to have Ludi and Patrick Hughes, the Pelayos, Dr, Lestrino Baquiran, in my life as my conduit to the Filipino Community, local politics and just a good BFF to run around with. Elton Lugay, and JB Adkins, I love you both as one of the leaders in the Filipino Community. I am grateful to have gotten closer and support Scott Siegel and be part of his Broadway Ballyhoo, Sandi Durell who encouraged me to sing more in her review of it, Ron Forman and his lovely wife. I have gotten to know Margot Astrachan, and Jamie DeRoy, more during this past Christmas party at Russ and found she is a delight with a fabulous sense of humor, and doesnt seem to take herself so seriously! I love composer Larry Kerchner, and wife Annette, who wrote my favorite music Somewhere In Time Ervin and Edith Drake, who connects with me daily. It was fun and wonderful joining Linda Amiel Burns for the singing experience and having Tom challenge friend/teacher Badienne Magaziner after she told him he was tone deaf, LOL so funny! Through the singing experience got to know Mark Wilk, son of another idol, Marilyn Michaels, who I admire and adore and told her to tell Mark to join us. I have met some really, really fabulous friends in FB, I wish I can name you all, but it would take a page and a half, I love you all as my FB family, I attribute meeting some of my FB friends in person thanks to ever creative, beautiful, Judy Stadt, I adore you and your posts! Brenda Kravitz you are like sparkling wine, youthful and bright, I want to be you! Last but not least, my fabulous Catm, NY boys who I love, for their compassion, kindness, generosity towards artists particularly Phil Valy! Thank you, John Dabu and David Zelikovsky for coming into my life and my adopted brothers, Robert R. Blume, and Roger and Tiffany Maggio. There are more I wish to thank for touching my (our) life, but it would take more pages! For now, lets join forces in praying for peace and unity in this world of ours and with each other as well! God, bless us all and our troops and their family missing during the holidays! I feel for them!
