I met Gerry Anderson in 1984 --I was visiting the set of VIEW TO A KILL at Pinewood---I had written a pre title sequence for John Glen for OCTOPUSSY which they used a portion of(The beginning part, the rest was used pretty much intact for the pre credits of Tomorrow Never dies) I was having luch with Roger Moore and Derek Meddings, and Derek suggested I visit Gerry at Bray Studios, where he was shooting TERRAHAWKS. I rang up Gerry, he was very nice. The next day I came out and had luch with he and his producer. Gerry showed me about Bray--saw the main mansion where they shot the DRACULA films-saw his miniatures for TERRAHAWKS--actually touched the original puppets for THUNDERBIRDS and CAPT SCARLET--surprised they were so big--a great experience---his creativity will be missed----- my comic character ASTRON, being reprinted later this year-- Copyright 2014,1977 Tom Thomas Sciacca
