I met Robin Williams when I was 10 years old in 1979. It was at Dodgers Stadium at their Hollywood Stars baseball game. They would have a bunch of celebrities play a short game before the Dodgers game and it was probably my favorite day of the year. He ran the bases backwards. It was downright hilarious. After the celebrity game I would wait by one of the exits to say hi to all of the celebrities leaving the stadium. When I said hi to Robin Williams, he stopped and talked to me, and made me laugh hysterically for 15 minutes. That moment is probably the biggest influence in why I try to take time with people who come to my shows. Im so sorry for the pain he had. Ugh.
