I met a lovely human while navigating a heaping grocery cart - TopicsExpress

I met a lovely human while navigating a heaping grocery cart during Single Mom Safeway Sunday night rush hour, who recognized me from my speaking engagement at the Because There is Hope :: Fayes House fundraiser yesterday. She teared up, and thanked me for such a moving speech, one that left her speechless, she said, as well as for the Beautiful, inspiring magazines I help create. She embraced me tightly and thanked me, again, in my ear. I told her I had been replaying my time at the mic over and over. And thanked her for making my week. I think of one of the moments I shared: of holding the phone to my dying (of ovarian cancer) aunts ear, so my mother, who was stuck in the hospital due to the return of her ovarian cancer, could say good bye to her sister . . . And I am amazed at the beauty that comes from some of the saddest moments in life, as well as the power that presents itself within the moments we are given to share those experiences. Do good with the highs and lows, people. Do good.
