I met a nice welfare mother today. Many of them are nice. She told me the story of how she had to meet her “boyfriend,” in reality the father of her child. I guess they had to do something health-related for the child without elaborating. All I could think is how hard must this be on her child? You know? That’s no way to raise a child. They need a Mommy and Daddy. I’m at the point that I think it’s better to tell unwed mothers that the Federal Government will no longer fund their wanting to bring a child into this world unmarried and use the money to promote adoption of their children instead. The kids would be better off. :o)
