I met this man at the last show I competed in. To be honest and I hate it, I was wondering why he was getting on stage because he was not all the way dialed in. We were all there to be judged and I was judging him in line while we signed up; I was absolutely wrong with my judgement and assumption - making me an ass! I overheard him talking and when I learned that he left chemotherapy only 7 hours previous to compete, I was ashamed! This man was on hospice and wanted to live out his dream; he did it too and is an inspiration to all of us. Anyone that feels like they #^)(*&)(..... whatever the excuse, it does not compare with his! Now, I am not a judging man in in the normal world and we were on a stage and in a room to judged. However, I learned the ultimate lesson; everyone has a story and never judge a man without knowing his or you are not one. I look at competing and stage in a totally different light now thanks to his example. Good to you all Grrrrrr! *listen to him, he is trying to tell you something!
