I met with the low vision specialist last week. dr Richard Windsor . Wonderful guy , wealth of knowledge and experience. Unfortunately he doubts that the vision will get much better due to the extend of surgery that was directly in my visual area of brain. He did however recommend the use of prisms to help expand my overall field of vision. I got to briefly try them out and it was amazing what they can do. Unfortunately they take at least a couple months to be made at specialty lab so Im working in that whole patience thing again.. Lol. He also said he has no doubt I WILL drive again.... After I take drivers rehab! I will get special adaptations to my vehicle to help eliminate the excess blind spots along with the glasses.. Yippee.
