I must agree. Africa might not be the princess of the world because her glittering diamonds have been wrenched from her and her oils sold to the highest bidder while she received not a penny. Africa, she is relegated by those whove set themselves up as judges, who have forgotten ~ yes ~ that they gauged her womb to steal her children and fling them onto wide-hulled slave ships. Yes, they may speak of her with wagging tongues saying she is a poor mother who takes no care of her offspring while they chain her to the post and whip her sons in the street. They laugh at her daughters and make mockery of them but they take them to dark places to perform dark deeds. Oh Africa, you are belittled and broken down but I say, you are strong. Rise up and take your sons back. Rise up for there is strength in your steely bones. There is power in your mud-soiled hands. Rise Africa! Rise!
