I must make a clear statement: While in certain ways with a website, I am a business. I am though, doing this from the beginning to help others prepare. What I offer is actually what I do in my life or have experienced in my life. I appreciate being contacted to do radio shows or blogs, but I do not seek an excess of attention or any type of praise or fame. All I want out of life is enough to have food, water, shelter from the elements, and the love of my trusted best friend. If you are another prepper page and you see something I offer can help others, please re-post it. If it teaches you something also, thats great, for we all need to learn and prepare as much as possible. Something is coming and you should be preparing as much as you can. Im not looking to be the top-rated prepper page or look down apon any flock of sub-preppers. There are many people that are superior to me in bushcraft skills, or physical fitness, or fighting skills and some that are less skilled. I am not an expert on anything. There is no such thing as an expert in my opinion. Life is an ever-changing playing field. We must prepare to adapt and overcome adversity, not compete or place anyone above any other. When the crap hits the fan, all this internet stuff will go away. It wont matter who is who, or what you are here. You and I will be human animals competing for food, water, and shelter. Nothing more. Get right with your faith, your body, your spirit, and your skills. Thats what Preparing With Dave is about. The more likes I get, the more people I am reaching, not gaining in some collection of people to use. I believe that rewards come as they come in the course of life. They are earned as they are given in return for giving of ones self in what they do. There is no getting. Its like if I go to hunt in SHTF. I will first connect with the area I wish to hunt in and offer myself to the entire field of play. Only them will I enter that field in the state of success and acceptance of what I receive. If I go there with any other state of being, then I may fail to see what is offered. I have never been skunked fishing for this reason...never. I hope youall understand what I am saying here. I am here to help you prepare, but I need you to take it seriously. I and the other pages will not be here if the power goes out. Gone! You will only have what you have prepared in mind, body, spirit, and supplies and skills. Love and utilize what you receive here, and put it into action. Take what you find here and use it to prepare. Make your preparations for SHTF, so when the power goes out, you can survive. Perhaps we will meet someday in the aftermath and share some food together, but for now, this connection can disappear in an instant and not return for some time. I am only here until then....
