I must say I got very worried yesterday listening to the CS-Health explaining how they will test all Kenyans returning from Liberia today for ebola,keep them at the airport for one day until the results are out and then let them go home. I must say the best thing the CS would have said is to quarantine these guys for 21 days and then release them to their families if none of them develops. We cannot rely on that test at all even if its PCR test. This is because even the best tests cannot pick up the ebola virus if the person has only been recently infected because it initially multiplies in the tissues and not the blood. Kenyans be on the look out,until 21 days are over,we are not safe any more.
