I must say, I love our Kenwood family. I hope I got you all called or emailed back, but if I havent, I will. To answer the question of the day, YES, we will be helping our friends and family in Gifford, IL. Starting tomorrow, you can turn in envelopes to your teachers with a cash donation ($1 on up is accepted, there is no amount too small). The other needs are kids clothes, bottled water, diapers and wipes. You can also drop those items off, at school, if you wish. One of our Kenwood moms, who is a CNA, will be working out in Gifford Friday and the following Wednesday. She will take our donations at those times. In similar news, a HUGE thanks to Mrs. Geren, who went out to Gifford today to help with animal rescue. She helped save a few lives today, and we are grateful that she has so much love in her heart, and took on this highly emotional task. A flyer will go home tomorrow about donations.
