I must say not much can jar me when it comes to medicine, but watching night shift tonight sure brought up a few repressed memories. It takes all you can muster to shove those a feelings of remorse for people who have lost love ones from young to old. There is nothing harder than telling someone there loved ones has died or having those patients who you know all efforts to save there life are simply just going through the motions. My heart is heavy for patients both past and present who have passed on. To all my ems friends (nurses and doctors included) god bless. To everyone else not In this business you will never understand what we give on a daily basis.
