I need advice about visas. I was born 1985 in the USA. I am an American citizen by birth. I speak English. My skin is white. My name is Joey Arnold. I wear glasses. I came to Vietnam 2012-11-29 to teach English. I arrived in the Hanoi airport. I came on a 3-months multiple entry tourist visa. I extended it 2 or 3 times in HCM. I tried to make a new visa. They said I cant unless if I leave the country and come back. I dont know if that is true or not. I needed a new border stamp that is stamped in the south like near HCM. My first stamp was from Hanoi which made extensions more expensive in HCM since my first border stamp was stamped in Hanoi and not HCM. . I went to Cambodia for one day in 2013-08. I bought an apx $50 30-days Cambodia visa. I bought an entrance back into Vietnam letter. I paid extra money to take a new photo for the letter at the border as I was coming back to Vietnam. They said they only give one-month Vietnam visas at the border. In September, I bought a 3 month Vietnam visa in Q.1 of HCM. I extended that visa 3 times. Maybe I can make a new visa now because I have a border stamp that was stamped near HCM. I still do not understand all of the rules. Some say that my visas are illegal but being a tourist is not illegal. . My visa expires Tuesday 2014-06-10. Robber stole my wallet. I dont have money to make a new visa. I do not know what to do exactly. It takes days to make a new visa. I dont have enough money to make a new visa. It costs about $150. Email me at joeyarnoldvn@gmail .
