I need help writing this short story. Any ideas? The Teen Who Was Everywhere Chapter 1. Coffee. That all I wanted right now. Glorious steaming coffee that quenched my thirst. I was sitting in geography class at school during 5th period and trying to think of ways to have fun during summer but my mind was wondering elsewhere. Where, exactly? To the tall, skinny man walking through the school looking very odd. What was with that hat? And the clothing? I mean, who wears a long black coat at the start of summer? The guy had to have a waterfall of sweat coming out of his armpit by the end of the day. I watched out of the corner of my eye as he walked across the asphalt toward the benches where my friends and I sat during lunch. Looking around, he pulled a small brown package out from his coat and placed it under the bench. Then, with a swift turn of his cloak, he ran off. “Strange” I thought. I would have to go check out when class end-BRRIIIINNNNNGG!!! As I packed my books away I kept my eye on the package, despite the kids swarming around the place getting from class to class. I swung my bag around one shoulder and left the class. As I walked to the benches i thought about what I would do with the package when I got it (Whatever it was). I sat down on the bench casually just as everyone filed into class. “One late-to-lesson won’t hurt my record” I thought as I picked up the package. I hesitated as my geiger counter on my phone went crazy. Whatever was in this package was highly radioactive. If i was any other kid i would’ve stopped there and just gone to class. Pffft! Yeah, right! My curiosity was going mad and so was my adrenaline. I found a rip in the packaging and carefully peeled it away from the wrapping. That was when i saw the wires and timer. 3... 2... 1... The last thing i remember is being thrown across the asphalt by a shockwave and feeling every bone in my body shatter. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Chapter 2 Blinding white light..... dark shapes.... voices.... is that a different language? I blinked a couple of times in reaction to the doctor’s torch being shone in my eyes. “Good. He’s awake.” said Torch Man. “Was goin’ on?” I asked groggily. No one answered. They kept looking at me then back to their clipboards. “Good body-build” I heard one of them whisper to another. Huh. Usually no one can hear whispers from the distance I was. Wait. Where was I? Now that my eyes were focused I could see that i was in a room. Torch Man had left and was on the other side of a window tapping away at a computer. I was sitting on a bed that smelled of roses. How could I smell that? I could tell that Whisper Dude was wearing cheap cologne. “How?” That word ran around in my head like a kid with a new soccer ball. The last thing i remembered was being flung across the school yard by an explosion..... Suddenly, the clipboard guys were called into the other room by Torch Man. “Gentlemen we are about to start the demonstration.” Demonstration? What was I, a test subject? I waited. “First we are going to start off by testing reflexes on Scott here.” Guess i was a test subject.
