I need some advice. Long story short: one of my ex best friends made numerous false allegations about myself and my boyfriend and how I am with my children. I got fed up with CAS showing up at my door. The worker served me with court papers. They are seeking six months supervision due to lack of cooperation. Last week we had the first court appearance and it was remanded. My lawyers assistant told me that itd be in my best interest to tell my worker my new address seeing as I have recently moved but I didnt call. My worker called last Thursday and said she needs to do a home visit to inspect my new home. I tried to reschedule the home visit this am because I have to go out of town tomorrow but my worker said shes coming first thing in the morning instead of the afternoon when the original appointment was scheduled. So my question is, is the CAS worker allowed to still do visits and what not while in the court process for supervision? Also, is it necessary for a home inspection if there has been no call about it?
